Why is This Important?
The LEAD program was designed with the goal of identifying and developing high-potential employees across the County, and building a strong pipeline of candidates prepared to compete for lead, supervisor, and manager roles.
What Does It Mean?
Since 2021, 57 employees have graduated from LEAD. This excludes 2024 when the program was skipped for one year. Of the 57 employees who graduated from LEAD, 16 have been promoted.
Definition
LEAD (which stands for Leadership Enhancement And Development) is an internal program designed to offer County employees with leadership development trainings while receiving coaching from an assigned mentor.
