What Does It Mean?

The Job Growth measure gauges growth based on the average number of jobs added by the County's Economic Development Partners (EDP) over the previous 3 years. 

In 2025, economic development partners were instrumental in adding 876 new jobs to the region. This represented 7.84% of all jobs added (11,178). This is significantly below their results in 2024, when they added 2,574 jobs (22.35% of all new jobs created). This is mainly due to uncertainty in the economy throughout 2025.

Definition

The total number of jobs added in Arapahoe County by the Economic Development Partners (EDP). The EDP includes Aurora Economic Development Council and Denver South Economic Development Partners. Jobs added by EDP include those new jobs directly attributable to EDP work.
