Measures the total monetary benefit secured for veterans through approved claims filed with the VA. Claims can either be distributed as a lump sum or as monthly payments. To demonstrate the full value of claims recovered during the reporting period, the monthly payments are multiplied by 12 months. This total is then added to any lump sum claims recovered to provide the total value for the reporting period. This process is facilitated by the VSO.
